Accomplishments
Mahdi has put his experience and skills in education, accounting and taxation with Unicef, Théâtre le tremplin, Association Sportive et Educative Koulane since 1999.
He is also one of the founding members of The Canadian Community in the Horn of Africa since 2018 and currently holds the role of Coordinator of the Education/Sports programs. Some of his accomplishments include:

Education is a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty; promote growth, development and well-being; and address social inequalities. It is the basic building block of any society. It is the best investment countries can make in building a prosperous, healthy, and equitable society. Priorities
Mahdi will strongly will put forward and supports any and all measures intended to provide assistance to students in difficulty to acquire the skills that will allow them to succeed in reading, writing and mathematics with the help of a multidisciplinary team (tutor, teacher, specialized educator or psychoeducation...) in and outside the classroom context.
Mahdi also believes in giving parents the tools and information they need and play a bigger role in the decisions that affect their children future. This is why Mahdi’s will always advocate for meaningful consultations with parents, especially those that are seldom heard, on any and all major decisions.
Mahdi also believes that there is no one size fits all, which is he will always promote diverse voices to be heard to foster a climate of diversity, cultural inclusion and social equity.
